Description

A South Indian style Mix Vegetable Recipe is popularly known as “Avial” in the state of Kerala. A combination of fresh vegetables put together in thick gravy.

Avial is one of the many dishes prepared during the traditional and popular festival called “Onam” celebrated in Kerala. There are approx 33 dishes prepared during this festival which is served on a Banana leaf.

Avial is also one of the common dishes prepared in Kerala. A mixture of all the vegetables makes the recipe nutritious and a healthy one.
